Original Musical Production

We are currently taking reduced registrations up to the limit that we expect the state of RI Covid-19 restrictions to allow. As soon as the state releases its summer camp guidelines, we will update our capacity accordingly. Consequently, if you are interested in joining TASM this year and a session is full, PLEASE DO use the waitlist!

Our Musical Camp is wait-list only at this point, but there is still a bit of space in the two Shakespeare sessions. We can still accept a few more actors on our Shakespeare Production of Much Ado About Nothing, as well as the Teen Shakespeare Intensive Hamlet.

If the session you want is full, please DO put your name on the waitlist, since it is not uncommon for there to be some shuffling… And in the meantime, please consider registering for one of the other available sessions, because we don’t want you to miss out on all the theatrical fun!

TASM Original Musical Production

July 6 – July 24
(3 weeks)
Performances: July 23 & 24 at 7:00

Calling all stars! All singers and dancers! This workshop allows students to act in a full-scale Broadway-style musical of their very own! Students work with the faculty to create their own story and characters, write scenes, lyrics, and musical themes of songs. Songs, based on student input, are composed by a professional composer. Once the writing is done, the rehearsals begin. The young actors work with the director, voice coach, and choreographer to put together the show. When all the pieces come together, the result will be a weekend of world-premiere performances.
