Sports and physical activity are an integral part of growing up. The St. Michael’s athletics program stresses the development of each child’s physical coordination, and works to instill a healthy sense of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
Middle School students have Physical Education as part of their curriculum and organized team sports are also available to all students in grades 5-8. Team sports are held most afternoons from 3:00 to 4:30 pm with a variety of activities offered throughout Fall, WInter and Spring.
The Middle School sports season is a mixture of practices, scrimmages and games, both home and away, played against a number of area schools including Friends Academy, Gordon, Lincoln, Moses Brown, The Pennfield School, Providence Country Day, Rocky Hill, St. Philomena’s, and Wheeler, to name a few.
