It was a sunny and warm Wednesday afternoon when Girls’ B took on Cluny in the Girls’ B 2010 championship game. It was a good game and everyone played well. Today’s scorers were Annie, Chloe, Lucy, and Tory. Today’s great defenders were Maddie, Taelor, Amelia, and Jasmine. There was 13 seconds left on the clock with the score at 23-22 SMS leading, and Cluny had the ball. Then Lucy stole the ball and as she was dribbling down the court time ran out and Girl’s B had become the 2009-2010 Girl’s B Champions! After being crowned champions, and concluding an undefeated season, it was a perfect time to go celebrate at Newport Creamery with ice cream and cheeseburgers!
