Substitute Teachers (All Grades)

St. Michael’s Country Day School welcomes applications for substitute teachers in the Lower, and Middle Schools. Ideal candidates will have teaching experience, expertise in their content area, the ability to teach across grades, a passion for working with students, and a commitment to fostering a diverse community.

Extended Day Staff

We are seeking staff members for our Extended Day Program which runs from 3:00-5:30pm each school day. Staff members have some flexibility as to the days and hours that they work. Candidates should have a college degree and experience working with children in at least one of these age groups; preschool through kindergarten, grades 1-4, or grades 5-8. Sports: Lead Camp Counselor (Summer Fun Camp): 

Seeking an outgoing professional that truly enjoys working with students to run our sports program for seven weeks this summer, beginning June 22nd – August 7th, Monday – Friday, 9am – 2:45pm. Qualified candidate will plan and organize actives suited to each theme and should possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage children in this age 6 – 12. Candidate will engage children with quality group sports classes and provide guidance and support to campers in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes teamwork. They will also be responsible for assisting the certified lifeguard supervising children during swim time.

Requirements: 3+ yrs Teaching and/or Physical Education/Coaching experience, Enjoys working with children ages 6 – 12, Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities, Ability to supervise assistant counselors, Strong organizational and communication skills.
