July 2 – July 13 (2 weeks) ~~ Performances July 13 and 14
Theatre at St. Michael’s continues its advanced Shakespeare workshop for experienced actors. Under the direction of camp director Christina Johnston, a limited number of teens will undertake intensive study and production of this most compelling and challenging of Shakespeare’s works, a play in which the power of prophecy combines with greed and ambition to cataclysmic consequences. The small number of actors in this program ensures a high level of personal interaction with our camp staff. Participants will be involved in all aspects of rehearsal and full production – including training in the craft of acting, character development, text analysis, stage combat, choreography, and special effects.
