Sewing For Fashion

Sewing for Fashion – July 24 –  28

For children entering grades: 2nd – 5th


Participants will use a variety of age-appropriate sewing and crafting techniques to create fashion accessories and garments. Campers will learn to independently and safely operate a sewing machine, steam iron and cutting tools. They will learn embroidery and hand sewing techniques as well.

 .

Projects will accommodate both beginner and more advanced sewists, including the following: a ruffled skirt, design applique on a tee shirt, fabric and/or button necklaces and bracelets, hair accessories, infinity scarf and a cross body bag. We will cap off the week with a fashion show on the final day of camp.

 

 

Session Details:
Weekly program includes an option to swim daily. The fee for Sewing Camp is $275 / half day or $325/full day.
