Morning Adventures


This is a half-day program which runs 9:00 – 1:00 daily. The weekly fee per session is $300.00. Our Morning Adventurers program is a stimulating half-day program focusing our campers on key social values such as respect, awareness and the appreciation of others.  Our camp introduces our youngest group to specialized activities which include swimming, crafts, music, dance, supervised play, and story time. The program is designed and run by professional early childhood educators and their assistants. Weekly themes help drive the various activities throughout our summer programs and we encourage campers to select as many sessions as they can!  Session 2016 Morning Adventurers themes are as follow:

Week 1        June 26 – June 30      Enchanted Kingdom
Come to a far away fantasy world for a week of stories and fun with us at St. Michael’s Enchanted Kingdom camp. We will be exploring the wonderful world of Magical Dragons, Princesses, Knights and Castles through books, games and projects. The royal children will spend an energetic week full of fun, reading, and movement!

Week 2          July 3, 5 – July 8        Creepy Crawlies (four day week due to holiday/pro-rated)

The natural world around is is abound with creatures. Come explore our beautiful campus and learn about the important jobs and amazing features these  insects have.

Week 3             July 10 – July 14     Pirate Island

Ahoy Mateys! Get ready to sail the seven seas in search of hidden treasure. Our little pirates will create treasure maps, dress-up and go on scavenger hunts.

Week 4           July 17 – July 21            Dynamic Dinosaurs

How big were they and why did some of them have plates on their backs? What did they eat and how did they survive? Learn the answers to these questions and more!

Week 5           July 24- July 28      Under The Sea

Dive into the deep blue ocean and discover the creatures that await through stories, songs, crafts, and hands-on exploration.

Week 6           July 31 – August 4       Fairy Tales

Fairy tales and fables are much more than simple stories to entertain and amuse your children. Although these fantastical stories are important for fostering children’s imagination and inventiveness, many also contain valuable lessons that can offer unique learning opportunities.

Week 7         August 7- August 11          Jungle Safari Adventure 

Through stories, songs, and crafts children will meet the animals that inhabit this mysterious place.


*All Morning Adventurers must be fully potty-trained prior to their initial camp session.
