It was in the second half when SMS gained the lead after a goal from Jack. Immediately after Jack scored, Finn one a face-off and scored within 9 seconds from the previous goal. It was now 3-1. We kept the lead for a while but Gordon scored two more and tied the game. In the third quarter, SMS regained the lead by Jake’s second goal. Again , Gordon scored to tie the game at 4-4. It was in the fourth quarter when Jack scored a goal to put SMS back on top. The game was almost finished, but in the very end< Gordon scored. Gordon demanded to go into overtime. Off an assist from Finn, Jake scored his third goal, and SMS won the game. The game-ball went to Finn because he had four assist and a goal.

Girls “A” has been un-defeated until this game. We played a close game to Penfield, unfortunately we lost. Becky made most of our goals and did a great job. Amberlee Injured her self towards the end of the game and left us with her great team spirit! They both played fantastic as well as the rest of the team. Even though we lost, we still played a phenomenal game!! GREAT GAME GIRLS “A”!!!!!

On a beautiful Monday afternoon Girls A traveled to the Glen for a game against Pennfield. The game started off with a goal by Pennfield but shortly after SMS took it back. It was neck in neck for the first few minutes of the game but then Pennfield got ahead. SMS had free possession because Pennfield was up by 4 goals. Girls A quickly scored another goal to bring the score back up again. SMS was only down by 2 at the half. After half time girls A was ready to win this game. We brought the score up to 12-13. The draw went up and Becky won it, but then Pennfield got it back. Girls A kept fighting, but Pennfield did as well. We brought the score up to 15-17. Girls A tried to get the score back in the last seconds of the game but we didnt. The final score was 15 to 17 Pennfield. Even though Girls A lost, we still played a fantastic game! GO TIGERS!

The Girl’s “A” had a great game!! The weather was cold and raining, yet the Girl’s “A” didn’t let the weather ruin their game spirit. We played against Rocky Hill, and the score was close, 9-10. Daisy did a great job in goal even though she had an injury during the game. Amberlee did a great job even though she pulled her muscle during the game. We missed her towards the end, however our team pushed through the rain and cold, and scored some more goals. GO GIRLS “A”!!!!!

On Tuesday, April 27, the Boys “B” played the “A” team from Rocky Hill. To start us off well, Corran scored his first, and the team’s first, goal of the game. Danny played a fantastic game as goalie, only letting in two goals and surprisingly almost scored while he was playing as goal keeper. The other scorers were Jackwith three goals, Jake with two, Scott with one, Finn with two, and Corran scoring his second goal at the end of the game. We did have a lot of scorers, but the game ball did not go to one of them. Instead, the game ball went to Morgan. Though he had no goals, he made many assists, and also did a spinning routine, dodging about three people and still held the ball. The ending score was 10 to 2, and the Boys “B” have won their second game of the season and still haven’t lost any.
